  • Is an Amplifier Needed to Power Speakers When Using The Jensen JDVD1500?
  • I do not believe that previous answer is correct. This radio does not require an amplifier for any typical use. The included instructions tell you how to connect up to four speakers which are powered to 40 watts each by the radio. Yes, you will be able to simply swap the radios out following the speaker wiring guide that is in the instructions and printed on the top of the radio. That being said, this radio does include “Line Out” connections using RCA style cables. You could use these...

  • Could Subwoofer be Wired to Mechless Marine Stereo part # JHD910
  • You could wire a subwoofer to the Mechless Marine Stereo part # JHD910 but you'll need to use a speaker wire to RCA type adapter so that you can convert speaker wire signal to a signal the amplifier of the sub would need. • RV Amp Recommendation for 150 Watt Speaker Pair to Increase Volume
  • Getting the right amp for your speakers is pretty easy to do. To get the most volume and sound quality the best way is to at least double the amount of watts the speaker is rated for at max. So for that I would recommend the Jensen Power Amplifier # POWER760 which when ran in bridged mode can put out 190 watts per channel. This would make a huge difference in your sound quality and more importantly volume.

  • Can Furrion Stereo with Bluetooth and NFC # DV3100 Be Used with Subwoofer
  • The Furrion Stereo with Bluetooth and NFC # DV3100 can be used with basically any subwoofer and amp that would normally get installed in a vehicle. We have the Polk Marine Subwoofer # MSW10 that would work really great with it. You'd need an enclosure for it and an amp to power it. For an amp if you went with the Polk Audio Class-D Power Amplifier # PAD1000-1 with that subwoofer you'd have a really great sounding setup! We don't sell enclosures or amp wiring kits though so you'd have to...

  • Could Amp Wiring be Used to Power Trailer Wiring for 2016 Ford Escape
  • Technically yes you could use the amp wire you have now to power the Curt trailer wiring connector part # C56335 for your 2016 Ford Escape. That said if your amp is being pushed really hard and at the amperage draw limit of your 4 gauge wiring your trailer lights might stop working. Most likely you'd see them fade in and out. If your wiring is way overkill for your amp like most are you'd never run into this problem. Be sure to run the included inline fuse on the wiring before it gets...

  • Can Television Power Furrion RV Indoor Speaker # FS3W
  • The RCA output of your Furrion television only carries audio signal without the ability to power speakers. The Furrion RV Indoor Speakers # FMS5B are not powered so you'd need an amp to amplify the audio signal from your TV to power the speakers. So you'd need to run the RCA cables from your TV to a stereo like the part # JWM60A then run speaker wire from there to the speakers like part # FS3W.
